I had a random thought I needed to share with y'all.

So. You know Telepathy? Listening in on minds 'n shit?

What if.
You know there's a telepath around so you start telling yourself some delightful self-insert fanfiction about your current book/show/story. And you're just, y'know, hanging out with the main cast and being best friends and fighting monsters with them and generally having a great time with your OC falling in love and being a violet-eyed badass, and the telepath is stuck listening to this wonderful story you're telling yourself.
And they can't say a single word about it because that telepath is rude as hell for listening to your private thoughts in the first dang place.

This is why I occasionally find myself mentally apologizing for my weird self-indulgence to anyone who might be listening in.

I am minding my own business inside my own head. My self-indulgent mary sue OC who flirts with all my faves is my business.

But wait. What if mystery telepath actually likes my violet-eyed protagonist? They can't say anything because, y'know, it's all in my head. Guess I'll just have to keep telling myself stories. :)
