I need to make many decisions about this week's meal prep. No need to read if you don't want to.
I am so bored with everything I have recipes for. I've got a few new ones, but that means I'm not sure how well they'll freeze. I definitely need things from the 'Freezes Beautifully' section of the cookbook.
And I have to prep two 'lunch' meals this week as my freezer is really bare.
Chicken and rice casserole with added peas? or curried chickpeas?
And if I go with a main dish that uses one link of sausage, I can use the other in a breakfast prep and not have to scramble to deal with defrosted meat. (each package has 2 links of ~1lb each.) And that would use up the frozen spinach I have. Which means I'd be getting more veggies in my diet that I currently have. Probably a good thing, overall.
So I could get some potatoes and make breakfast bowls with the other venison link? Because cereal is getting boring. The novelty of being able to have it has worn off.
