I got the stitch count where I want it, but I need to go down at least one needle size because the cuff just slides all over the place. Also had to deal with, wait what's worse than yarn barf? The center pull ball decided to just turn itself inside out. Since I was ripping out the small progress I had made to go down the needle size anyway, I took the time to untangle that mess and make a new yarn cake. About 2.5 hours later I was done! Thanks, RPG shows for keeping me company.

I have crochet hooks! I keep working at it, laughing at the total and complete lack of tension, ripping out the little progress I have made, and returning to sock knitting. It's a work in progress.
