Time Change Means Anxiety Time!
Nov. 5th, 2018 10:00 amYeah, I really hate the time change. And I'm pretty sure it makes my anxiety worse. I know it makes my depression worse. The anxiety could be increased because of the election tomorrow. (it's probably not just that and i know it)
I did 'Ladies' D&D Saturday at the shop and it was really fun! It was nice to not have dudes at the table for once. We made characters, which was a bit of a challenge of course, and then we got to actually get into the game a bit! Only once a month, though, because the DM comes up from ~1 hourish away. But I am super stoked to see how Patience the tiefling cleric grows! And the new friends!
Two nibling Christmas presents are done! A UT fleece throw and a pink space unicorn throw are done and ready to be put into gift bags. I need to figure out fabric for one and get input from Eldest Nibling on the other. (The 18 year old gets to pick, the under 12's do not, sorry.) Also Eldest may opt for the gift card instead of a fleece blanket.
There is probably a lot to unpack about vehemently rejecting crafting in all its many forms as a Youth and now coming back to them in my 30s. But I'm tired. I am glad I have crafting though. The universe is terrible and harsh, but I can knit a sock. The sock is not a metaphor. You put it on your foot and your foot is warmer. It's not a big thing, but it's what I can do.
