questionoftheday asks: What is your internet history? What websites were you a part of that might not be around anymore, and do you have any fond memories of them?

My answer: Oh gosh, I've been on the internet since ~1997. Back in the day of webrings. I remember fondly Troublemakers and All Things Naughty, a messageboard that has been lost to the ages, and all the fun RP we did as bebe!fans. I was on LJ before the purges, before strikethrough, migrated here, flirted with tumblr, getting into twitter now, flirting with pillowfort if it ever comes back up.
I maintain my strongest friendships online and have for over a decade. facebook may be a pit, but it does have some uses in keeping folks connected.
