Dad and I set a date to bake pies! We missed last year because of a lot of reasons and it turns out we both missed it. So on December 22nd, we will be baking! In high school my friends thought it was weird that I baked with my dad but not my mom. But he's the parent that likes baking, he also has more of a sweet tooth than my mother, and we don't really have a lot of shared interests, my father and me. I'll nurture the few we have as best I can.

He is the parent that introduced me to Star Trek and Captain Picard, though. He's a secret nerd that is less secret as time goes on.
