Cast on for Galder last night. I am completely off the initial track, but I'm knitting socks I want to wear and those that help me build skills. So I'm calling it a win, even though I'm still feeling guilt about not having the Gryffindor scarf further along.
Having socks I have knit myself and like and want to wear keeps me thinking about my clothes and the way I present myself to the world. I do not like the way I currently present myself to the world. I am also broke as a joke, so a massive wardrobe overhaul is unlikely to be quick.
I have jeans I like. I can check Goodwill and other thrift stores for shirts that I would want to wear. The footwear is the next big purchase and that's not going to be super cheap. Neither will another binder. But I can clean out the things I haven't worn in years and make room. I can do this slowly.
In the meantime, I have socks to knit and rpg shows to watch.
