Real life, no crafting

kendiefoxSome things have changed on the PA end, which means we're reevaluating the timeline of my big move. J got a new job that is in her field and starts May 28! So her partner T is seriously looking in the general area of J's job for something as well. (He is okay with current job but still looking.) The idea of me moving up there end of July was floated, but that would mean me living in the living room for ~4 months. I don't want to be with her that badly, apparently. So the timeline of end of year remains steady for now with the possibility of end of 2019 instead of January 2020.
If I do not get my license renewal scheduled before my birthday, I will tell J that I let my license expire. Not something I want to do until after it's been corrected, honestly. I'm just really anxious about walking into the DMV with an expired license. But once I have it, I can get rid of a bunch of things by taking them to Half Price Books and get a little walking around money. Pretty nice carrot, eh?
I've also been really considering my furniture. Couch will not make the move, green chair probably will. J and I have briefly discussed my laundry room, but that will need to be a more specific agreement before I let my newish (3 years old) washer go, even if it is a top-loader. And the clothes are getting pruned slowly but surely. Some tshirts are being kept for a tshirt quilt, but most are getting donated. I never really liked wearing 'curvy' tshirts anyway, I preferred boxy cut even when I was wearing underwire bras as a matter of course. (P.S. I'm loving my new binder!)
I'm scared, but moving to be with J still feels like the right thing for me.
