Jan. 23rd, 2019 10:21 amGot some words in last night! Still not great words and not really connected to anything, really. But sitting down to write actually produced some words! \o/
I also paged through 'Quilts! Quilts!! Quilts!!!' which I picked up at Half Price Books in Corpus. (yes, it really does have that many exclamation points in the title) It looks even more like what I want than it did at the store! Lots of different patterns, all of the templates are still in the back (!!), and what looks like decent yardage estimates for various sizes.
Space Queer: the quilt is slowly coming along. Cutting pieces is difficult because it hurts to stand and lean over the table for any length of time, thanks scoliosis, but it's going. I haven't given up; the fabric is still staring at me from the table. I really only have 1/3 of the diamonds left, then it's lots and lots of white and then border and then time to sew up the top. It's not really that many steps; I can totally trick my brain into believing that.
