(no subject)

I am probably piecing these squares together all wrong, but seeing the stars all ironed and stacked just feels good. I have 2/3 stars sewn together and the fabric cut for the last 14. Then it's on to cutting the diamonds for the rings, and the solids, and the sashing, and and... I know it's not even close to being a quilt top, but it still feels good to have visible progress. I have knit on a project all weekend and had very little to show for it, so this is still novel.

Did not get actual writing done, so I did not count yesterday as part of the tracked days, but I did get some organization down. Logins work, posted in the introductions comments, looked over the two main projects, etc.

The mini pie experiment will probably be Friday night. Then it's not a big issue if it takes a bit longer than anticipated and I will either have them for Saturday's game or not. A learning experience either way. Get the process down, then I can experiment a little.
