Dec. 30th, 2018 05:52 pmI have returned from travels to family! I got to see my mom on Christmas Day, then spent several days with Eldest Brother and his wife in Corpus Christi, and generally got lots of chill out time in.
Mom loaded me up with many things from Grandma's house, which they're still clearing out. I am now the proud owner of a huge binder of quilting patterns and templates, the Better Homes & Gardens Complete Guide to Quilting, a fair amount of fabric, and many many ideas.
I hit Joann's for fabric for a queen-sized quilt (wallet says ouch), and I spent yesterday washing and ironing the fabric. I started cutting it today, and I have two stars sewn together. (out of 42, the stars are part of each block) I'm calling it Space Queer Quilt, and the fabric is on Instagram.
