I sent the rag quilt to my bestie on December 5 via UPS.
I received notice last night that it is being returned to me for 'unspecified reasons'. :|
My best friend's quilt is being returned to me FOR REASONS?! My best friend's quilt will not get to her by Christmas BECAUSE REASONS?! Fuck UPS. At least USPS will get it there.
And God better be with them if it goes missing or is damaged when I get it because you can bet your boots Hestia's gonna be on my side in this.
Motherfucking handmade quilt for my best friend. Long-distance cuddles. Not this Christmas, sorry.
ETA: No, I'm really down about this. I really wanted her to have that for Christmas, that's why I mailed it December 5th. I don't want to be reasonable and think of how overworked the UPS drivers are. I wanted her to have a thing and I mailed it 20 days before Christmas to get it to her and UPS didn't do the thing they said they would.
