No one told me that a huge part of adulthood would be working through the trauma of my youth.

Mostly piecemeal, as I cannot afford therapy right now, but still working on it.

Unfortunately, working through those things is what lets us adult better. And someone has to be the responsible adult, since so many of them that claim to be aren't doing it.
